mission is to empower our endangered youth to reclaim the Anacostia River, their
communities and their lives.
The Earth
Conservation Corps is a nonprofit organization that engages the strong
minds and muscles of Anacostia’s youth in the restoration of the Anacostia
River. As corps members improve their own lives, they rebuild the environmental,
social, and economic health of their communities.

Senate Bill Signals New Momentum for Clean
Energy in 2009
Senate Environment & Public Works Committee
Chair Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Foreign Relations Committee Chair John Kerry
(D-MA) introduced the Senate’s version of comprehensive clean energy and climate
legislation today.

Upcoming Service Days

bags, water, appropriate tools, & safety equipment
Your group should bring - A water bottle, sunscreen, we recommend wearing long sleeves, long pants, and closed toe shoes.
